Strategy Analyst

About The Vacancy

Start September 2026 | Ghent, Belgium

At Madison Partners, we help organisations make clear strategic choices in a world where data and AI increasingly shape how companies decide, operate and compete. From our base in Ghent, we work closely with executive teams across food manufacturing, healthcare, insurance and HR services.

We are not a technology consultancy and we don’t implement tools. Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, organisation and transformation. We support leaders in translating ambition into direction, priorities and execution, with a strong focus on what actually works in practice.

As a Data & AI Strategy Analyst, you join strategy engagements from day one. You’ll work closely with experienced consultants and partners, contributing to high-impact projects while building a strong foundation for a long-term consulting career.

Your Impact

As a Data & AI Strategy Analyst, you will:

  • Support strategy engagements through research, analysis and synthesis
  • Help assess how data and AI impact business models, organisations and decision-making
  • Structure complex and ambiguous problems
  • Translate analyses into clear insights and compelling storylines
  • Contribute to strategic roadmaps and recommendations
  • Prepare and support workshops with senior client stakeholders

No two projects are the same. One moment you might be analysing data governance challenges in healthcare; the next, helping shape a data strategy for a growing industrial company. What connects them all: sharp thinking, strategic context and visible impact.

This role is designed as the first step in a long-term consulting career within Madison Partners.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for curious, ambitious graduates who enjoy tackling complex problems and want to grow in a high-standard, strategy-driven environment.

You:

  • Will graduate with a Master’s degree by summer 2026
  • Work fluently in Dutch and English (French is a plus), given our client base
  • Are located in Belgium, allowing you to collaborate on-site with clients when needed
  • Experience in one or more of our focus industries - Healthcare, Manufacturing, HR Services, or Banking & Insurance - is a plus
  • Have an excellent academic track record
  • Studied at a leading university or business school, or can demonstrate equivalent academic rigour and ambition
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Are comfortable working with data and conceptual models
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy structuring and synthesising complex topics
  • Have a strong interest in strategy, organisation and transformation
  • Are curious about data, analytics and AI, without aiming to become a technical specialist
  • Are ambitious and motivated to grow in a demanding consulting environment
  • Are looking for a long-term role rather than a temporary position

Prior exposure to strategy consulting, economics, business, engineering or analytics is a plus, but not a requirement.

What's In It For You

  • Early exposure to high-impact strategy engagements with senior clients
  • Close coaching and guidance from experienced consultants and partners
  • A steep learning curve in a senior consulting environment
  • A clear development path towards Consultant and Manager roles
  • High standards combined with trust and responsibility
  • Competitive compensation
  • Working from Ghent, with flexibility
  • Start date: September 2026
