Ghent, November 22, 2024 — Telenet Group has been named the winner of this year’s Data Maturity Award, presented by Madison.Partners and delaware. The award recognises organisations that have made remarkable progress in embedding data and AI into the heart of their business strategy.
Telenet earned the top spot ahead of fellow finalists Port of Antwerp-Bruges and Proximus Ada, who also demonstrated strong progress in their data journeys.
Raising the bar for data maturity in Belgium
The Data Maturity Award is more than just a recognition — it’s a signal. A signal that measurable, business-led progress in data & AI matters more than hype or ambition.

What makes a data-mature company?
Through an online scan and in-depth interviews, the Data Maturity Assessment developed by Madison.Partners maps out a company’s progress across key foundations — from data governance to value delivery.
This year’s top five scorers were invited to complete a full scan and deep-dive assessment. The result: Telenet Groupemerged as the frontrunner, demonstrating how data-driven KPIs, scenario-based planning, and executive-level alignment can create measurable impact.

The award ceremony took place during the Data & AI Event 2024, a gathering hosted by Madison.Partners and delaware. The event featured keynotes by Rik Verheye, Sam Kerkhofs, and other leading voices in the Belgian data and AI space.
